Traumeel®

In a controlled double-blind study, Traumeel® was tested for efficacy in the treatment of sports injuries. Traumeel® revealed considerable and significant clinical differences in reducing pain from that of a placebo and on average patients using Traumeel® were able to resume athletic training sooner. Physicians evaluated the tolerance of Traumeel® as good to very good with no undesired side effects.

Zeel®

This prospective drug survey investigated the effectiveness of the homeopathic ointment preparation Zeel, and tolerance to its application, among a total of 498 patients. The largest subset of the total patient population for whom this preparation was employed represented those suffering from monarthrosis followed by those treated with the ointment for polyarthrosis, spondylarthrosis, periarthropathia humeroscapularis, and other degenerative articular disorders. The physicians participating in this survey administered medicamentous as well as non medicamentous measures at their own discretion as adjuvant therapy, insofar as they felt such treatment was necessary for the A respective symptom pictures. Throughout the course of therapy, the patients experienced rapid and definite relief from such complaints as pain experienced during the night, pain upon onset of motion, and pain during articular movement. The participating physicians assessed overall results of therapy as either very good or good for 75.1%of the patients. The patients' tolerance to the preparation was good.

Sinusin (previously sold as Euphorbium Sinus Relief)

An in-vitro study examined the effect of Sinusin (previously sold as Euphorbium Sinus Relief) against pathogens causing various viral infections including influenza A, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and herpes simplex virus type I (HSV-I). HSV infections play a major role in super-infections in common colds. The results of the study showed that in-vitro, this product has antiviral effects against RSV and HSV-I as well as a minimal effect against influenza A virus.

Oculoheel®

In a controlled study, 769 patients with conjunctivitis were treated either with Oculoheel® (Pure Eye Drops) or tetryzoline. Improvement was noted in both groups and it was revealed that the difference between the treatments was negligible. Thus Oculoheel® (Pure Eye Drops) were shown not to be inferior to tetryzoline with regard to specific symptoms of conjunctivitis. Tolerability was excellent in both groups.

Viburcol®

Viburcol® was compared to acetaminophen in the symptomatic treatment of acute feverish infections in children. A total of 767 children were treated either with Viburcol® or acetaminophen. Both groups experienced equivalent and clinically significant improvement in body temperature, feeling of general well-being, severity of the acute infection and of clinical symptoms. This study confirms that the therapeutic potential of Viburcol® is comparable to that of acetaminophen.
